Veterans assisting other veterans in finding employment.

General Information

The Snohomish County Veterans Program is a team of men and women veterans who assist other veterans, and eligible spouses of veterans, in obtaining gainful employment.

Who We Are

The Veterans Program offers support through Local Veterans Employment Representatives (LVERs) and Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Specialists (DVOPs). All Veteran Representatives are qualified veterans who understand the unique challenges facing the veteran community.

What We Do

The Veterans Program staff partner with participating veterans to identify their needs, skills, and goals. This may include helping the veteran or an eligible spouse overcome various barriers to employment, understand their current skills and how those skills are valuable to employers, or access training to gain new skills.

Transferrable Skills

The Veterans Program staff can help to translate the knowledge, skills and abilities gained through military experience and training into transferrable skills that can be applied to any profession or work situation.
