WorkSource Locations
Perhaps
you’ve been laid off from a job and it’s taking
longer than you expected to find work, or maybe you’re
just rethinking your career and want a position that will
be more satisfying. Whether you have worked for years,
or are just entering the workforce, WorkSource has valuable
resources that can assist you during your career transition.
Our services are available to you free of charge and are
designed with “customer choice” in mind—you
decide what resources will work best for you and we help
you access them. (Note: Some program services require
eligibility.) Workshop schedules are available by
selecting any of the locations above.
While each WorkSource Center and Affiliate may have a
different look and feel, they all offer access to the
following self-services:
- Job listings from local employers
- On-line job search and resume posting
- Labor market and local wage information
- Career planning software
- Computer software and Internet connection
- Workshops on topics related to job search and career
planning
- Access to training resources
- Complimentary local telephone, fax and TTY calls,
as well as use of copiers and printers for job search
activity
- Access to information about unemployment insurance
- Community resource information, such as public transportation,
childcare assistance, food banks, etc.
