Health insurance is important to your family. Your WorkSource Center has services or service referrals to help you find the assistance you need. All information will be held confidential.
1. You may contact the resources listed in the community resources section below to be connected with the appropriate agency that can address your specific situation.
Basic Health is a state-sponsored health insurance program for any Washington resident who meets income guidelines.
CHIP is a federal/state program that covers children under age 19 in families whose income is too high for Medicaid but still fits within certain guidelines.
The Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) administers medical programs for individuals, families, and children who meet income and/or other eligibility criteria.
DSHS administered programs include Medicaid and the new Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) as well as Family Planning services.
